Jodi Trujillo is an artist, dreamer, muralist, digital illustrator, and crafter. She’s been painting, drawing, and creating art since she was 8 years old, when she first picked up a paint brush. As a shy child, Jodi found solace, personal expression, and a freedom in art like nothing she’d ever experienced. She first found support for her passion with family—her uncles taught her drawing techniques—and her circle of creatives grows with every new creative she has the joy of meeting.

  Joy and peace infuse all of Jodi’s work, from large-scale murals to delicate watercolors, intricate crafts, or children’s book artwork. Jodi’s art invites the viewer into the sense of love and joy that emanates from each art piece. She decided to start a Paint Party company while living in California in the late 2000s. When she, her husband, and youngest of 4 kids decided to make Hawaii their new home, Jodi was thrilled. The serene beaches, vibrant flowers, and sweeping landscapes of O’ahu only further ignited her creative imagination. Offering virtual paint parties at the peak of the pandemic showed Jodi just how meaningful art is for humans, and she continues to offer in-person or virtual paint parties to a range of audiences.
